| Description: | Position Overview This individual will manage a team responsible for providing business planning and analysis to support management in achieving revenue and profit growth objectives in several business communities along with Corporate. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. Key responsibilities will include: • Management of at least 2 direct reports. • Development of the annual operating budget and forecasts. • Management of monthly reporting packages and quarterly business review packages. • Analysis of historical trends and current operating metrics to identify risks and opportunities. • Development of pro forma projections to support product launches or continued investment. • And general decision support for the executive team. • Must be willing and able to travel to satellite office locations occasionally (20%). |
| Requirements: | • Self-motivated, deadline driven, and possess strong analytical skills. • Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial managers. • Degree in Finance (or related field) and at least 5 years finance (budgeting, forecasting, reporting and projections) work experience required. • Must have prior work experience in a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) department. • Previous staff management experience is preferred but not required. • Consumer products experience a plus. • Pervious experience in the publishing industry (especially magazines) would be considered a plus but not required.
