One could argue that the F+W Media Sports division has helped grow the sports hobby into what it is today. After all, the flagship title, Sports Collectors Digest, has been in publication since 1973, and a weekly today, remains one of the major mouthpieces for the sports collectibles hobby. Tuff Stuff Sports Collector's Monthly (formerly known as simply Tuff Stuff) has been under the F+W media umbrella since 1999, serving as one of the foremost price guides for sports cards.  T.S. O'Connell Position: editor of Sports Collectors Digest Office Location: Krause Publications, Iola, WI About T.S.: T.S. O'Connell has been with Sports Collectors Digest since 1993, but his foray into sports collectibles took shape many years before that. T.S. was a former sports card dealer and has been fascinated with cards since childhood. T.S. has authored two books, with his latest being Legendary Yankee Stadium: Memories and Memorabilia From the House That Ruth Built, due out in early 2009. T.S. in an avid pool player and golfer in his spare time.  |
